MommyCon or Hyde [ Recap + Giveaway ]

Seriously…MommyCon or Hyde

This post may get a little sappy so I apologize in advance! But, MommyCon isn’t coming back to Atlanta in 2018! I’m SO SAD but also SO EXCITED for Charlotte! Is that a thing? Can you be saxcited (sad-excited)? Well, that’s what I am even though MommyCon Atlanta 2017 was super fun! MommyCon Atlanta was literally MommyCon or Hyde for me.

*Discliamer: I received free product in exchange for a giveaway. Also, there are affliliate codes placed in this post. These codes may give my family commission at no extra cost to you. Read more on my disclaimer page here.

MommyCon Atlanta Feeding Station Hustle or Hyde

This year, I was honored to speak at 3 MommyCon events before Atlanta, which helped with confidence. The only problem was all the nerves I had going to Atlanta because this city is my hometown, like my baby. It means a lot to speak in front of people I know and admire, which is probably why my stomach felt like I woke up on a rollercoaster.

Stay at Home Parent, Now What?

My session is called Stay at Home Parent, Now What because I literally don’t know what you are “supposed” to do. What’s your job title? What does that mean? For me, it took a LOT of living and mistakes to kind of figure out what that is. It meant taking more than my share of responsibilities to realize that I shouldn’t be doing that. I should ask for and accept help while putting my job as mom first. During my session I shared some of that story, battling postpartum depression and coming out of it as a Chaos Momager.

MommyCon is Magic

MommyCon is magic to me because I am able to surround myself with people and brands that make me feel like I am doing the right things. I’m able to put my worries aside and just enjoy being among my people! I’m able to see past the chaos and bond with others doing the same. It’s magic because you feel that summer camp vibe even after you leave. It’s magic because it just is and you need to go to one in 2018 worked with Picture Keeper during my session which was a great way to spread the word about the Picture Keeper Connect. I am kind of obsessed with their connector and app because I’m kind of obsessed with taking photos of my kids. I take so many photos I run out of space really quickly. With Picture Keeper, you take the device and backup your photos (and videos) anywhere you are, it’s beyond legit.

A huge part of MommyCon is getting to view and experience brands you previously only met online. This event was no different, over 60 exhibitors I didn’t even make it to all of them! But still, I dove right in this year! I had a few things I HAD to buy and a few things I was looking out for. Let’s just say I finished holiday shopping for the kiddos, got a few new things to try, and was able to update our wardrobe at the same time. Eight amazing brands from MommyCon Atlanta have trusted me to bring you one spectacular giveaway!

  • Kayla November 20, 2017 at 7:58 am

Trying to figure out legistics and pick which state, if I can manage to go at all in 2018.
To manage chaos, we have quiet time for EVERY ONE 1 hour a day, if naps happen then even longer.

  • Stefanie November 25, 2017 at 9:03 pm

Hoping to get down to either MommyCon Pasadena again, or to San Diego! A planner and a joint Google account with my husband helps me Mommage the chaos!

  • Sarah Parker November 29, 2017 at 4:38 am

I won’t be going to MommyCon, they’re too far away.
To manage chaos, I have everyone take a quiet time even if they don’t want to nap
